What an absolutely lovely spot! The Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum is a must see for art lovers in Austin. Charles Umlauf donated his sculptures and grounds to the city of Austin. The grounds are beautiful with shaded path ways and benches and water falls and lily pond. But the sculptures are what fascinated me. The man has a way with detail that gives his figures their striking personalities. I focused mainly on the faces of the people but their poses were as telling as their faces. I see many more visits for me to this special place.

I spent a few hours at the Zilker Botanical Gardens this week. I decided to take a flower shot that did not come out quite as I wanted and do some montage. The flower image is the same in all the works but the second image is different for each work. The techniques for each image are different as well.
