Texas Zone Plate 2010, Vol 6

I spent a few hours at Lake Pflugerville the evening before Hermine arrived. I love the soft, dream-like quality the zone plate can sometimes produce. I use my first digital camera, a Nikon D50, as my dedicated zone plate camera. And I always hand hold the camera. Don’t look for razor-sharp images with this technique!

Anne Throop Cards and Prints is open for business. This is an online store where you can choose and purchase greeting cards and prints. Images will be available for sale for approximately 3-4 months and will then be taken off of the site.
10% of my income from this store will be donated to a different non-profit organization each quarter. The first quarter donations will go to the American Red Cross.
