I’m beginning to get busy with all the details for the Reflections From Otter Creek show.  This week I’m highlighting 3 of the Spirit stars from the show.   Each image is an edition of 3 and is being printed on hand made Japanese paper.

Spirits of Otter Creek, Vermont 2008, Vol 2

I was out in the kayak yesterday and noticed many of the Spirits were no longer visable.  A certain set of conditions must be present in order to see them.  With so little rain lately the river is getting quite low.  The Spirits will hibernate when the water is low.

Spirits of Otter Creek

                                                                                                                                    Otter Creek is inhabited by hundreds of Spirits between Vergennes Falls and Dead Creek.  The first Spirit I saw was big and bold and his presence said “Look at me, look at me.”  I looked and I saw and I’ve been seeing ever since.   All Spirit images are taken from a kayak with a hand held camera.  Spirit images are for sale in limited editions.  Please contact me for more information.
