I took a walk around Lake Pflugerville during the day. The grasses at or near the water’s edge provided the subject matter for these zone plate images.

I spent a few hours at Lake Pflugerville the evening before Hermine arrived. I love the soft, dream-like quality the zone plate can sometimes produce. I use my first digital camera, a Nikon D50, as my dedicated zone plate camera. And I always hand hold the camera. Don’t look for razor-sharp images with this technique!
