Last week I visited the Dead Creek Wildlife Refuge. Although I saw minimal animal and bird life I found three levels of visual interest in the trees, the grasses and the water. All three images are landscapes worked as montages.
I went to the Addison County Fair in August and found many opportunities to shoot objects, animals and people I would not find in daily life. The above montages are made from some of the most colorful lights and objects at the fair.
I did some traveling around Vermont this week. From 22A looking towards NY State the two seasons of fall and winter were very obvious. South of Hancock horses grazed in a pasture at the base of a colorful hill. Some of the distinctive chairs were still out at the Breadloaf Conference Center.
